Antenatal Classes

Relaxed and informal our classes help you to make choices for your birth. They are for everyone whether this is your first, second, third or even fourth baby. You can choose from two options - Antenatal Courses or One-Day Classes.

ANTENATAL COURSES
These are run as a course of 3 consecutive weekly sessions and are ideal for those of you who want to learn about everything on The BirthPrep Programme and get to know others expecting a baby around the same time. The best time to start the classes is around 33/34 weeks of pregnancy so that you have finished the course by the 37th week. They naturally help to build lasting friendships and to foster this a postnatal reunion is arranged for a few weeks after the last baby is born. 

Classes held in Garforth Children's Centre are subsidised by the Centre and offered at a reduced cost to parents. The reunion for these classes is during a 'Baby Fun' session on a Thursday afternoon with  the Centre staff.

ONE-DAY ANTENATAL CLASSES
These are great if you are short of time, need a refresher or just feel that you need more help in addition to your NHS classes.  Held at the weekend at hotel venues in LEEDS, YORK, HUDDERSFIELD AND SHEFFIELD they are popular with couples from all over Yorkshire. The day starts at 10am. and finishes at 4pm. You can attend these classes at any time during your pregnancy.
