Frequently Asked Questions

How are your classes different from NCT and NHS classes?
We are different from NCT in that all our classes are taught by experienced midwives and you have the benefit of their experience supporting women during pregnancy, labour, birth and afterwards. Our aim is to give you the knowledge to be able to make your own choices and have a positive birth experience whatever the circumstances.

NHS classes are often shorter and tend to be larger groups with no reunion. Our classes have a maximum of eight couples per class. Most classes have only five or six couples making it easier to get know others in the group.

What do you mean by a couple?
A couple is you and your partner, relative or friend. Will I need to bring anything to the classes? No. We provide some leaflets for you to take home and pens and paper are available for you to write your own notes if you wish.

What if something happens and I don’t need the classes?
We will give you a full refund.

Do you offer any support after the course?

There is always the chance you may have questions when the course is finished so further support is available by email or telephone.
